Ron Wiener's 2026 update:

• My 2026 work plan - to continue

  a) my fortnightly co-facilitated sociodrama support group on zoom for Ukranian therapists which will be in it's fourth year. Also co-facilitating a sociodrama workshop about this work at the 10th UUEP/EAP Symposium in February

  b) my co-facilitated improv. drama sessions for older people on zoom on Tuesday mornings - open to new members. This group has been in existence for over 15 years

  c) collaborating with other iSCAN members to deliver the second year of a sociodrama training course in India

  d) chairing the fortnightly iSCAN support group (an article on iSCAN's history and way of operating appeared in the December issue of Tele - (BPA's journal))

  e) co-leading the series of 4 session story telling workshops on zoom with Mala Bali in India but open to people from anywhere

  f) running occasional workshops in collaboration with Tele'Drama International University where I am on the staff as a Teaching Fellow

  g) quarterly in person sociodrama workshops in Sheffield in partnership with Val Monti Holland

  h) my membership of the International Committee which helps to organise the bi-annual international sociodrama conference, the 10th of which will take place in Turkey this summer in the first week of July and I am co-facilitating at the Pre-Conference Online Sociodrama in January titled "Five words and a poem to save the world."

  i) working as a mentor and supervisor both online and in person

  j) writing articles and book chapters - a chapter on sociodrama will appear this year in a German/English publication - "Sociodrama - A Framework"

• In addition I hope to offer a workshop at the British Psychodrama Conference in Harrogate at the end of July.
• That's enough though other offers will no doubt appear during the next 12 months
